Beachbody Ultimate Reset Day 13 Review – Detox

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  For the first time in many years we won’t be celebrating with a Corona and some Mexican food.  Geez, that makes me hungry!

4:54am:  Wake Up

  • I don’t know what time I fell asleep last night but I feel asleep quick and it was early (probably 9:00pm).  Woke up this morning feeling great aside from a minor head cold I’ve managed to catch.  A lot of people at work are sick so I’m around it all day long.

6:30am:  Ultimate Reset Supplements – Mineralize, Optimize, and Detox

7:00am:  Breakfast

  • Chickpea burger (with olive oil and garlic), the nutrition guide calls for a bowl of it but a patty is much more fun.  Browns it up a little and topped with Nori Gomiaso and avocado.
  • Since we don’t have a stove at the moment, I used our outdoor BBQ to brown up the chickpeas in a dash of sesame oil on the cast iron skillet.

10:30am:  Ultimate Reset Supplements – Mineralize, Optimize, and Detox.

11:00am:  Lunch

  • Microgreen salad topped with the second serving of roasted beets I made yesterday afternoon.
  • The Reset nutrition guide noted that serving sized will be getting bigger and they were right.  Salad with the beets was a lot of food.

1:30pm:  Ultimate Reset Supplements – Mineralize and Alkalinize

2:00pm:  Snack (optional)

  • 1 scoop vegan chocolate Shakeology, shaken not stirred.

5:00pm:  Ultimate Reset Supplements – Mineralize, Optimize, Soothe, and Detox

6:00pm:  Dinner

  • Kabocha squash with sesame garlic tahini.  This was the first meal I couldn’t finish.  It was half a kobocha squash with a side of broccoli!!!  The squash and tahini sauce was extremely rich and extremely filling.

Overall thoughts:

  • Felt great today, it’s very interesting what beets do to your… um… you know…
  • This is seriously feeling like a new habit, there isn’t a whole lot to report at the moment.  I feel completely adjusted to the changes.
  • Funny side note… Yesterday there was a 10% chance of rain so I got my car washed and we have a lot of indoor furniture in our backyard (until our floors get done today).  Guess what, 8pm it started POURING.  I was mad!  My daughter and I ran around trying to cover stuff up with tarps, hope we don’t have too much damage once everything dries out.
